Doctor of Philosophy
I have secured a PhD in Religion after completing and defending a dissertation on Spiritual Assessment. The dissertation included creation, development and implementation of a computerized spiritual assessment tool used (at the time) by every juvenile offender at the Atchison Juvenile Correctional Facility; and, for a time at the Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility. Both facilities are/were medium and maximum security facilities operating within the State of Kansas.
Bachelor of Arts
I secured a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Florida, with concentrations in Communications, English and Pastoral Ministry. This included travel through/in almost every state east of the Mississippi River as well as the countries of Canada and the Cayman Islands.
Master of Divinity
I secured a full 90-hour Master of Divinity (e.g., an "MDiv") from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, with concentrations in ministry. This included completion of an Archaeological project in Israel, Egypt and Jordan as well as the Community Crisis Center in Great Bend, Kansas.
Ordination with the Church of God - Anderson
I am a fully ordained minister with the Church of God with General Offices in Anderson, Indiana. I have served 3 congregations as Senior Pastor (in Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska).
